Due to an increase in COVID-19 (Coronavirus) cases, we will be temporarily closing our lobby as of Thursday, March 19th, 2020. The lobby will remain closed until further notice to protect the health of our members and staff. Although our lobby is closed, you will always have access to your money at HNCU. We recognize the coronavirus is causing serious monetary implications for families. We are extending financial flexibility for members who have been placed in quarantine due to potential exposure and whose employers do not offer paid leave for these circumstances. 

If you are taking unpaid time off due to quarantine, and as a result, are facing financial hardships, HNCU is offering:

  • Fee Refunds: Fees such as Non-Sufficient Fund (NSF) fees, overdraft fees, Visa card fees and early withdrawal fees, etc., may be waived or refunded for impacted members. If related to their quarantine situation, members may also be able to avoid transactional fees for credit union offerings such as wire transfers, or cashier's checks.
  • Loans: Members can borrow up to one month's salary, capped at $7,500. At 3% APR* for 12 months with no payments for 60 days.
  • Deferred Payments: Member (primary or joint) with an existing loan is eligible for 2 months of deferred payments with the exception of revolving debt and mortgages.
  • Club Accounts: All members will have access to club account funds without penalty.
  • Financial Reviews: Review accounts with a Financial Service Representative to discuss individual needs.

HNCU offers several quick, efficient, and safe ways to make loan payments.

Pay a Loan Using Home Banking

If you’re a Horizons Online Banking user you can transfer money from your HNCU savings or checking account to your HNCU loan or Mastercard® credit card.  Enjoy 24/7 account access. Make a one-time transfer or schedule monthly transfers.  Set it up once and let us do the rest!

Download our iPhone and Android App and use your mobile device to transfer funds from your HNCU savings or checking account to your HNCU loan or Mastercard® credit card.

ACH Payments (Automated Clearing House)

ACH transfers are another way to simplify your monthly bill paying. This is a convenient way to make your HNCU loan or Mastercard® credit card payment from a third-party account. Funds are electronically transferred from your account through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) system. Members with an account somewhere else can debit that account and make a one-time loan payment or schedule recurring payments for a fixed amount. Pay a Loan Using Online Payment Portal**

Make Payment Online

Use our Web Payment Portal to make payments from a savings or checking account at another financial institution or with a non-HNCU debit card or credit card. To make your one-time payment, you’ll need to provide your bank’s routing number and your account number, and your HNCU member number and loan suffix.

This service has been updated and has a new look.

If you were registered to use our old online payment portal you will need to re-register to begin using this new system. You will need to wait up to 24-hours to get approved then you can start using the portal. Be sure to have your account number handy.

*We use a third-party vendor to process your online payments when using a credit card or non-HNCU account. Our vendor will charge a $7.50 processing fee each time the one-time payment service is used. You can avoid the processing fee by scheduling recurring payments. To set-up recurring payments please complete the form and submit to HNCU with a voided check.
