Savings

Horizons North Credit Union always wants to help you get the most for your money.

We don't have stockholders, so we can typically offer a higher rate of return with our savings products than those you find at different types of financial institutions.

Regular Share Savings

  • Required for membership giving members ownership and voting rights in the credit union
  • Dividends may be earned with a balance greater than $500
  • Deposits and withdrawals may be made anytime
  • $5 minimum balance

Club Accounts

  • Member determines amount of deposits, frequency of deposits and total dollar goal
  • Dividends earned on account
  • No minimum balance requirement
  • Vacation Club - Funds transferred to regular share account on May 1st
  • Summer Club - Funds transferred to regular share account on July 1st
  • Holiday Club - Funds transferred to regular share account on November 1st

Polar Bear Kids Club

  • Savings account for kids under the age of 13

Teen Vision Club

  • Savings account for teenagers, ages 13-18

PEP Club

  • Special discounts and seminars for members, ages 55 and greater.
